What is a lip flip and how does it work?
The lip flip is a quick in-office treatment in which neurotoxins, such a Botox® and Dysport®, are injected just above the upper lip and around the corners of your mouth. The neurotoxins temporarily relax the muscles at the injection sites, resulting in your upper lip subtly “rolling” forward and amplifying the natural shape of your lips. It does this without overemphasizing your lips, providing a more natural look.

- Redness
These side effects are often mild and don’t last very long. You can use ice packs to alleviate any swelling or minor discomfort. We recommend you avoid drinking from a straw and kissing for at least 24-hours after your treatment.

Lip filler typically lasts anywhere from 6 to 12 months, while the effects of the lip flip last for about 8 to 12 weeks on average.
